Training

Equipment

All equipment will be provided by the club, but we do encourage people to buy their own glove and bracer part way through training.

When training takes place

Training sessions take place on a Wednesday night and lasts for approximately two hours. Arrival is from 7.15 for a 7.30 pm start.  Both adults and children train together at the same time.

The full course will consist of a minimum 6 x 2 hour training sessions plus a weekend (probably a Saturday, with a sign off session that takes approximately four hours) followed by three further weeks support.

We also implement the occasional “have-a-go” night in the support period, 1 x 2 hour session, adults £10, children £5.   NB – ‘trainees’ and ‘have-a-go’ can only use the equipment we provide. They cannot bring their own.
