Muttley Crew Archers is a St Helens based Field archery club, affiliated with the National Field Archery Association. The club has both indoor and outdoor shooting grounds.
Our outdoor venue is located at Sales Wood a 25 acre semi-ancient woodland located near to Prescot on Burrows Lane, L35 6JW. Club members have 24/7 access to the wood and it is also the venue for both our club and national competitions.
Indoor shooting
Our indoor shooting venue is based at the nearby Inglenook farm, WA11 8AE, also just off the A570 and very close to the village of Rainford. The club meets Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday evenings and members shoot at distances ranging from 5m to 27m. In the summer season, members have the use of an adjacent field to the indoor barn house. The indoor barn accommodates all our taster and coaching operations. The club welcomes new members and we offer training programmes throughout the year.
